ஆயும் அறிவினர் அல்லார்க்கு அணங்கென்ப
மாய மகளிர் முயக்கு.

பொருள்: வஞ்சம் நிறைந்த பொதுமகளிரின் சேர்க்கை, ஆராய்ந்தறியும் அறிவு இல்லாதவற்க்கு அணங்கு தாக்கு(மோகினி மயக்கு) என்று கூறுவர்.

Senseless fools are lured away
By arms of sirens who lead astray.

English Meaning: The wise say that to such as are destitute of discerning sense the embraces of faithless women are (as ruinous as those of) the celestail female.
