பொருள்: எண்ணுவதெல்லாம் உயர்வைப்பற்றியே எண்ண வேண்டும், அவ் வுயர்வுக் கைகூடாவிட்டாலும் அவ்வாறு எண்ணுவதை விடக்கூடாது.

Though they fail their virtues stand.

English Meaning: In all that a king thinks of, let him think of his greatness; and if it should be thrust from him (by fate), it will have the nature of not being thrust from him.
