ஐயுணர்வு எய்தியக் கண்ணும் பயமின்றே
மெய்யுணர்வு இல்லா தவர்க்கு.

பொருள்: மெய்யுணர்வு இல்லாதவர்க்கு ஐந்து புலன்களின் வேறுபாட்டால் வளர்ந்த ஐந்து வகை உணர்வும் முற்றப்பெற்ற போதிலும் பயன் இல்லை.

Knowledge of five senses is vain
Without knowing the Truth within.

English Meaning: Even those who have all the knowledge which can be attained by the five senses, will derive no benefit from it, if they are without a knowledge of the true nature of things.
